KHUN-IN - King of Ranad
Born as son of the legendary Thai music master Suphot To sa-nga, Khun-In is perhaps the most eminent living maestro ofthe Thai xylophone today and he has often been dubbed the KING of RANAD.
He was a scholarship student of the Prince Narit Fund. He studied traditional Thai music and graduated from Silapakorn Fine Arts College.
At the age of five he made his debut performance, playing the Ranad on television. He entered several contests and his composition won the King’s Prize.
Khun-In is also a member of the multi-national band Asian Beat. He has been performing throughout the world including the USA, Italy, Switzerland, France, Russia, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore.
Khun-In is well-known for his role and his spectacular Ranad performance in the movie “Overture”. As a composer he has several traditional as well as contemporary compositions to his credit. One of his most outstanding
